Abstract
The American Jewish Committee is an ethnic advocacy group established in New York in 1906. The Denver office of the AJC opened in 1967 and closed in 2013. This collection primarily contains the records of the El Centro Cultural Project from the Colorado Chapter. The joint project between the Jews and the "Chicanos" existed from 1968 to 1971 when it was discontinued due to financial difficulties and inter-group differences.
