He thanks Sahud for his promptness when forwarding the money. Spivak also asks Sahud if the “conspiracy” they talked about has worked in his favor. The conspiracy they are talking about regards Mrs. Goldie Newman’s payment to Dr. Sahud once she receives money from Hornstein’s insurance.
