Abstract The Denver Public Library began the Creating Communities Project in 2008. The library and partners, including the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society (RMJHS), contributed information and digitized images on different Denver neighborhoods. Abstract Abraham Winograd immigrated to the United State in 1909. He had been born in Biala, Poland in 1889 and died in Denver in 1971. His future wife, Matilda Pinsky had come earlier with her parents and brother from Lithuania.
