Overview "Israel Toltz discusses the arrival of his family in Montrose, Colo., as well as Jewish businesses in Montrose. He recounts moving to Denver, Colo. in 1913. He also talks about Jewish families in small towns, life on the West Side of Denver, and his personal history. Israel Toltz married Frieda Radetsky (1906-1978) and they raised two children: Warren and Roberta."

Overview The Office of Price Administration warned Americans of potential gasoline, steel, aluminum, and electricity shortages in the summer of 1941. It believed that with factories converting to military production and consuming many critical supplies, rationing would become necessary if the country entered the war.
