Abstract

Raymond Stone compiled and edited a book on the Chepelevskys of Slonim, the Eisenstadts of Telechan, and the Vernikovskys of Slonim. He has sketches of various family members and a family tree back to the 1800s in the book. Also in the collection is a folder with a family tree of the Eisenstadt family that goes back to about 1417, a two-page success story by Ray Stone, and a Stone/Eisenstat/Chappell Family roster.

A history in Yiddish of the town of Slonim, Belarus. contains information and photographs of the Chappell family. The national Canteen Company is vending machine company. The Canteen Company of Colorado was started in Denver by Joseph Chappell when he became a distributor in Denver, Colorado in 1933.
