Abstract Ida Libert Uchill was born in 1917 on a farm outside of Denver, Colorado to Paul and Fannie Pepper Libert. She died in 2014. Her family on her paternal side arrived in Denver via the port of Galveston in about 1911. In junior high she was a columnist in the childen's section of the Denver Post.
