Abstract

This sheet music is for a song titled, "Haintige Chazonim," or in English, "The Cantors of To Day [sic]." The Hebrew charachters throughout the sheet music are Yiddish. On the back of the music are the verses and chorus written out in full. Words and music written by Lipa Feingold. Piano arrangement by Mae Jaffe. Published by Lipa Feingold in 1927. Engraved and printed by Radom & Neidorff, Inc.

Abstract

Paul Kwartin was a Brooklyn cantor who was born in Hungary and raised in Denver. He sang with the Central City Opera in Denver for eight seasons, appeared in a Broadway production of "No For An Answer", and was also a business manager. He died in his Westport, Connecticut home from cancer at age 63.
