Abstract Handwritten letter from Louis Fine of Houston Ice and Brewing Company to C.D. Spivak. Fine wrote the letter to introduce Nathan Marcou who was sick and needed help from JCRS. Fine also told Spivak that Marcou came from Havana, Cuba and just sent him to Denver with $12.50 to get to Denver. Fine hoped Spivak was doing well and signed the letter, “Louis Fine” at the bottom.

Abstract Night lettergram from C.D. Spivak to J. Block. Spivak informs Block that JCRS will admit Marcou within four weeks and after his arrival to Denver. Spivak asks Block to send the patient immediately so that he can fill out an application. He also advises Block to send the man with means to stay in Denver before he is admitted.

Abstract Night telegraph from Jules Block to C.D. Spivak informing him that a man was sent from Keywest by Louis Fine. Block tells Spivak that the man is without funds and they rely on Spivak to admit him as soon as possible.
