The center arch is coffered. Arches and columns are painted yellow. Lower right-hand corner signed "Lowenstein." Sticker on the back of frame says "Panel 3." It is presumed to be a set design.

All five have a solid black backdrop with minimal set furnishings. Scenes include a room, altar, man knelling before a cardinal, throne with banner, candlesticks and railings and the same candlesticks and railings without the banner and throne chair. Sticker on the back of frame says "Panel 5." Also included is a mounted photograph from a production.

On stage left stands a line of Nazi soldiers against a black background while the Von Trapp family stands slightly right of center stage poised to sing. Scene is when the family is performing "Edelweiss" in concert near the end of the play. Framed set panel for "Sound of Music," which was performed at Cheesman Park. Sticker on the reverse side says "Panel 1."
