Abstract

Maureen Owen is a poet, editor, and publisher, and has served as the coordinator/director of the St. Marks Poetry Project (1976-1980). Owen is the author of numerous collections of poetry, and is the founder of the literary magazine Telephone and the press Telephone Books. The collection consists of correspondence with colleagues, editorial work on publications, teaching materials, manuscripts and drafts, notebooks, and other various items related to her work and life.
