Spivak has received Julius Guttmann's letter of the 3rd. In regards to Julius Guttmann's inquiry, Spivak informs that the I.O.B.A. has given the following: "For the year 1904 the total contribution $1606.00, 1905 $857.00, 1906 $2486.90, 1907 $500.00, 1908 $2000.00." Overview Handwritten letter from Julius Guttmann addressed to Dr. C. D. Spivak Secy J.C.R.S. Denver, Colo. on Nathan Frank Lodge No. 87 I.O.B.A. Stationary. In the letter, Guttmann discussees a circular letter he included "which speaks for itself." Guttmann argues that the letter implies that J.C.R.S. accepts payment from patients or their friends and is possibly "seeking to obtain money by misrepresentation." Guttmann asks Dr. Spivak for information concerning the case.
