He was buried at the Rose Hill Cemetery of the United Hebrew Cemetery Association. on October 6th, 1909. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.

Abstract Handwritten letter in ink from Elias Cohen in Hartford, Connectticut, to C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado, stating that Capitol City Lodge Members do not want Isidor Berkowitz to be buried in a Gentile Cemetery but somewhere a Jewish man can properly rest in his afterlife. Cohen is contacting Spivak because he is the man who is able to provide all the information on Berkowitz. Letter is signed in ink "Elias Cohen."
