Abstract
Edith Blankenship shares her memories of what the University Park area of Denver, Colorado was like after moving to the area in the 1930's including the wheat fields, chicken farms, and local street cars. She also discusses home-owned grocery stores, which she describes as neighborhood businesses that have a grocery store in the front with living accommodations for a family in the back.
