Reflects on his 28 career as a policeman in Denver, including Denver Police training in the 1920s, prohibition, police corruption, and the condition of prisons and jails. Reilly discusses the changes in the way that police officers are treated in the community, the evolution of police tools, and changes in training.

Abstract Richard Wihera (BA, 1973) was a Mass Communications undergraduate during the Woodstock West protest in 1970 working as a reporter with DUTV, a closed circuit television station for the University of Denver campus run by the Mass Communications department. Wihera had a press pass and this allowed him to take photographs sometimes behind police lines. The collection consists of slides of photographs taken at the University of Denver during the Woostock West protest.
