Abstract

A typed letter from Jacob Schoen, of the United States Grand Lodge Independent Order Brith Abraham, to Dr. C. D. Spivak on Independent Order Brith Abraham letterhead. Mr. Schoen asks that Dr. Spivak consider Jacob Goldstein's application for admittance to JCRS. The letter is signed by Mr. Schoen.

Abstract A typed letter from President Philip Hillkowitz, JCRS, to Jacob Schoen, of the United States Grand Lodge Independent Order Brith Abraham, in response to Mr. Schoen's letter of recommendation for Jacob Goldstein. President Hillkowitz writes that JCRS cannot accept Mr. Goldstein because he is not a sufferer of consumption. Abstract

Typed letter from JCRS to Mr. William Schaffer, on April 27, 1906. The letter tells Mr. Schaffer that Mr. Schoen, from I.O.B.A. has requested information about him. The letter informs Mr. Schaffer to call the JCRS office at his earliest convenience, between two and four P.M. The letter is not signed, but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
