View looks northward and includes Frontier Hall, the Student Union, Science Hall, Sturm Hall, the tennis courts, soccer field, and baseball field, the Field House Arena, Centennial Halls, and Centennial Towers. Veterans Park, South High School, Washington Park, and skyscrapers of downtown Denver are visible in the background.

The front has two pink and yellow roses and a yellow ribbon sewn into the card's surface with gold lettering: ''My Birthday Gift Is A Gift of Love''. Inside the card in black lettering: ''My gift to you is a gift of love, That shall last to the longest day. It won't wear out, and it can't be lost, And it can't be given away'', and ''Ira'' is signed in blue ink.
