Overview The booklet is the product of the New Mexico Jewish Historical Society's Jewish Pioneer Oral History Video Archive Project, conducted in partnership with the Department of History and the Center for Regional Studies at the University of New Mexico. The booklet is composed of recollections of Dorothy Shipman, Clara Goldsmith Weil was born in Denver. Kansas Territory in 1860, married Nathan Weil in Pueblo, and then the family moved to New Mexico.
