Artists' books

Born in Denver, Colorado, Alicia Bailey received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Ms. Bailey is a studio and book artist and the owner of Abecedarian Gallery in Denver, CO. This collection contains project models, artist's proofs, plans, prototypes, notes, samples, worksheets, image descriptions, and various other materials related to the production of books published by Bailey.

Casey Gardner is a book artist currently residing in Berkeley, CA. Her works include "Why Go," "Entering Borderland," "Threshold, " and many others. This collection consists of process materials for three (3) of her works - "Threshold," "Body of Inquiry," and "Matter, Antimatter, and So Forth".

Laura Wait is a book artist living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She graduated from Barnard College with a degree in art history and studied printmaking and bookbinding afterwards. She ran a bookbinding and conservation business in Denver from 1981 to 2003. The collection contains of materials related to the production of various artist’s books by Laura Wait.

Sammy Lee is an interdisciplinary artist living in Denver. Her papers contain process materials for some of her works.
