Abstract Bobbie Louise Hawkins (July 11, 1930 – May 4, 2018) was raised in West Texas and studied art in London. After traveling extensively, she settled in Colorado. Abstract The Colorado Poetry Fellowship was formed in 1933 for the purpose of encouraging the development and recognition of the poets in the Rocky Mountain region. The group participated in International Poetry Week, presented readings by nationally known poets, and published the little magazine Timberlines until 1964, when the Fellowship disbanded. Abstract

Deatt Hudson (1931-1988) was a Professor of English at Colorado Women's College, Denver, Colorado, who earned her B.A. from the University of Denver and an M.A. from Yale University. She earned a second M.A. from Middlebury College. Hudson wrote poetry and short stories. The Deatt Hudson Papers include correspondence, diaries, biographical materials, a baby book, class notes, a yearbook, notebooks, scrapbooks, and photographs.

Abstract

Maureen Owen is a poet, editor, and publisher, and has served as the coordinator/director of the St. Marks Poetry Project (1976-1980). Owen is the author of numerous collections of poetry, and is the founder of the literary magazine Telephone and the press Telephone Books. The collection consists of correspondence with colleagues, editorial work on publications, teaching materials, manuscripts and drafts, notebooks, and other various items related to her work and life.
