Abstract Max Appel, born in Denver, married Elaine Monderer, born in Pueblo, Colorado, in 1958. Elaine and Max Appel began their first commercial enterprise as a "mom and pop" business called Hoky Carpet Sweeper Company in 1977. They promoted their product locally at state fairs and local department stores. Cheltenham Elementary School served many Jewish students from the west side of Denver. The kindergarten class of 1936 began having reunions in 1969. The collection contains some general photographs and photographs of attendees of the 80th reunion. Attendees include Helen Morris and Max Appel.
