Abstract

Dr. Lewis Hill Chernoff was an accomplished violinist who played with the Denver Symphony and Carvallo's Symphony. He was also a chemist and worked for the Food and Drug Administration in Denver. Collection contains miscellaneous papers, diplomas and certificates largely relating to Lewis Chernoff and some to Sophie Chernoff.

Marvin Feinsmith is a Denver composer and bassoonist who has worked with a number of notable orchestras, including the Denver Symphony Orchestra. Feinsmith, originally from New York City, graduated Yeshiva Rabbi Israel Salanter of the Bronx, and went on to earn a Masters Degree from the Julliard and Manhattan Schools of Music.
