Physical Education - Tumbling
A group of male students participate in a tumbling exercise at the University of Denver. One of the students is doing a headstand, a second is grabbing his ankles and swinging over him, and while a third is preparing to catch him. The students are standing on a large cloth in an open grassy area, with Buchtel Memorial Chapel visible in the background. Tumbling was a popular collegiate sport in the early 20th century.

A physician and nurse with a patient who is in bed at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS). The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. The sanatorium was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver.
