Scott Phillips, DU associate professor of sociology and criminology. Phillips published a study, ''Racial Disparities in the Capital of Capital Punishment,'' which delves into racial disparities in death penalty cases in Harris County, Texas. The research, which was featured in The New York Times, suggests that the district attorney was more likely to pursue the death penalty against black defendants and on behalf of white victims. It will be published in the Houston Law Review fall 2008.

A notebook of clippings from 1976. There are clippings from newspapers such as Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post. There are newsletter clippings from the Colorado Women's College as well as the Martha Faure Carson Dance Library. There are also other various clippings from other sources.

The scrapbook contains programs and playbills from all the theater, dance, and music productions that the Beck family attended from 1933 through 1945 in Denver, New York and other cities. Many of the performances were Arthur M. Oberfelder concert series.

This series contains photographs and papers about the Sigman family and the K. and B. Packing Company in Denver, Colorado. Louis K. Sigman and his sons Sam and Morris Sigman distributed free meat from their company during the depression from 1931-1940. Most of the material consists of digital images that were scanned from two scrapbooks.
