Byron Akers, the owner of the Colorado Car Museum and the Ghost Town in Colorado Springs, reflects on his long time obsession with automobiles. Akers was born in Denver and moved to Colorado Springs and reflects on the introduction of the car. Recalls the transition from horse and buggy carriages to automobiles, the first automobile trip up Pikes Peak, and the cars he owns, including the steamer Locomobile.

The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. It was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver. Mounted on cardboard 10 x 13.5 inches.
