The image depicts an unidentified speaker speaking to an unidentified audience at the University of Denver's basketball court, discussing unknown campus issues under the United States of America flag, undate. Three people in the audience appear to be holding signs. One sign reads "One dies every five minutes STOP!" and contains a hand drawn image of a bomb. The other signs are illegible.

The Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society's campus in winter (JCRS). The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. The sanatorium was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver.
