Abraham Winograd was born in Poland in 1885, coming to the United States in 1909, and moving to Greeley, Colorado in 1916. He was a junk dealer, peddler, and founder of Winograd Poultry. He aslo was a founder of Beth Israel Congregation in Greeley.
