Abstract

Leopold H. Goldman is shown pointing a pistol. Leopold Guldman opened the Golden Eagle clothing stores in Leadville and Cripple Creek, Colorado. In 1879, Guldman moved to Denver and opened the successful Golden Eagle Department Store.

Abstract

Sam Beck stands behind a chair in a formal pose. Sam Beck founded the Central Electric Supply Co. and was elected chairman. Located at 500 Quivas Street in Denver, Colorado, Central Electric was a leading wholesale distributor of electrical construction material and lighting equipment in the Rocky Mountain region. Ira M. Beck succeeded his father as the president of the company in 1969.
