Abstract

Aimee Peyser was born in 1899 in Denver and was an active member of the Jewish community in Denver for the rest of her life. She was one of the first women to hold an office on the board of directors of Temple Emanuel and worked for years as an educator of Jewish immigrants in West Denver. She married Melvin Strauss in 1923 and passed away in 1990.
