Abstract

Copy of typed letter from B. Sedler in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society in Denver, Colorado informs that enclosed is a $5.00 check for Sedler's dues from July 1910 to July 1911. Requests information on a man who had been at the Sanatorium a couple of years ago by the name of Prensky. Informs that Prensky is a relation and he does not know what has become of him. Requests a response by mail. Letter is unsigned but "B. Bedler"[sic] is typed at the bottom.

Achtenberg in Missouri informing that Spivak has enclosed a bill sent by Mrs. Annie Nowlander for board and lodging of Mr. Hyman Yablonsky for seven and a half weeks. Spivak informs that the total amounts to $41.25 which Spivak hopes Achtenberg will honor as he suggested on February 27, 1909. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.

Hoboken, New Jersey informs that Caroline Hasselberg's brother, Felix Hasselberg, was admitted to the JCRS Sanatorium on May 9th as an emergency case and that he died on the following day. Informs that Felix Hasselberg was buried by the United Hebrew Cemetery Association at the Rose Hill Cemetery and that among his effects JCRS found a money order for $20.00 sent by Caroline Hasselberg. Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Mrs. Catherine Queen in Edgewater, Colorado informs that Henry Cohen, the JCRS attorney, has written Spivak to inform that he has sent for Mrs. Catherine Queen's signature on an affidavit in the matter of making the JCRS the beneficiary of Queen's will but that he has not heard from her yet. Spivak requests that if Catherine Queen has not changed her intentions that she sign the above mentioned affidavit and mail it to Spivak....
