Sen. Dominick (R-Colo.) tours the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Kitty Hawk (CVA-63), which was sailing in the Gulf of Tonkin, with Rear Admiral Roger W. Mehle, United States Navy. Rear Adm. Mehle directed all naval airstrikes against North Vietnam. This stop was part of Senator Dominick's fact finding trip to Southeast Asia as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
