Abstract

Exterior of the Dairy Maternity and Nursing Building on the dairy farm of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS). The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. The sanatorium was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver.

Abstract Dale Alton Hyatt was born Febrary 13, 1912 in Golden, Colorado and died in Denver, November, 2003. He graduated from South High School in Denver. Hyatt served in North Arfica and Europe in the 310th Air Service bomber group. The Dachau Concentration Camp was liberated by American troupbs on April 29, 1945. Dale Hyatt took photographs of Dachau May 1, 1945 when the 310th bomber group went to the camp. The photographs are of Dale Hyatt, other members of the bomber group, bodies at Dachau, and...
