She was born in Russia and immigrated to the United States in 1906. She lived in Philadelphia when she arrive to the U.S., but contracted tuberculosis in Russia. Abstract

Handwritten application for admittance to the JCRS in pen for Hyman Osherofsky, with information such as age (19), place of birth (Russia), and ocupation (Operator). His nearest relative is his father, in N.Y.C. The form is signed by H. Osherofsky. On the the back side it is written he had stage III tuberculosis, advanced case, both lungs involved. It is also written he was admitted on December 30, 1909, and he died on January 13, 1910.
