Abstract Lillian "Lilly" Ann Blumberg (born Ginsborg) is an alumna of the University of Denver. She tells the story of her life with a focus on conflicts within the family and at work, along with the challenge of financing her education in dentistry which she was unable to finish. Eventually she breaks free of family conflict by finding a new career as a dental hygenist at an Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas.
