This folder contains clippings and miscellaneous ephemera about and from the life of Tillye Levy. Many of the items are glued to cardboard scrapbook pages.

File contains information on the history of Jewish businesses by Ken Bass (copy) covering the years from 1861 to 1979, as well as two copies of the Intermountain Jewish News, one from 1935 and one from 1937. The report by Ken Bass from 1979 is titled "The Story of Jewish Achievement" and covers "The Samsonite Story," "Star Bread Company's Story," "The Frankel Stationery Story," "The Central Electric Story," "The Guggenheim Story," and general "Observations."

Hattie Schayer Friedenthal, 1922, 1998
Hattie Schayer Friedenthal (1868-1922) was born in New York City and moved to Denver with her parents when she was four years old. Hattie graduated from East Denver High School in 1884, and married Sigmund Friedenthal in 1891. She was deeply involved in the Denver Jewish community, acting as organizer and first vice-president of the Jewish Sheltering Home, Editor of the Denver Jewish News, and president of the Hebrew Benevolent Society. Hattie was buried at Fairmount Cemetery.
