The Beth Israel Geriatric Center became Beth Israel at Shalom Park. It started as the Beth Israel Home for the Aged and the hospital was added later.

Adolph Kiesler Formal Portrait, 1938
Formal head and shoulder portrait of Adolph Kiesler. Adolph Kiesler was born in Romania on October 18, 1880 and died in Denver, Colorado on December 19, 1967. He started the Peerless Alloy Company in Denver, Colorado in 1908. A philanthropist, he was a founder and president of Beth Israel Home for the Aged (later Beth Israel Hospital and Geriatric Center) and was active in the Allied Jewish Federation.
