Biography
Central City Opera House is given to the University of Denver by the McFarlane family in 1932 (Ida Kruse McFarlane, Professor of English at DU, good friends with Anne Evans). The CCOHA was administered as a non-profit corporation during this time.

Billboard for 1941 Central City festival, billboard reads," The central City Opera House tenth annual play festival July 5-26, 1941. The Barber of Seville by Rossini and Orpheus by Gluck under the direction of Mr. Frank St. Leger staged by Mr. Herbert Graf. The performances will be sung in English."
