The Businesses Collection reflects the diverse role Jews played in the economic growth of the American West, particularly within Colorado. It includes a paper on Jewish businesses and articles and documents from and about a variety of businesses, dating from 1890 to 2007.
Collection contains papers written by students using the Beck Archives collections for University of Denver courses. Collection also contains scholarly publications using the Beck Archives collections.
The collection contains materials intentionally assembled by Beck Archives that are associated with Jewish communities in the western United States and Mexico. The material is related to various towns in Colorado, Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
