Patterson, who farmed in Mesa, gives a brief overview of the history of farming in the area. He describes some of the machinery used in harvesting and baling hay, and talks about the water supply in Arizona. Top cut off. Left and right channels seem to be out of phase until a large click happens at 02:05, when the channels become in-phase. High frequency ringing pitch occurs in places (tape box mentions wind chimes). Tail cut off. Total duration: 33 minutes.
