Biography

Henry Rosen was born in Krementchug in the Ukraine. His grandfather was the famous Rabbi Abraham Heshel. He came to the United States on October 19, 1913. He began working for the Jewish Consumptive's Rellief Society as field staff in 1917 and became the manager of the New York office. He became a member of the JCRS Board of Directors and after the death of Dr. Charles Spivak, Henry Rosen was elected the Executive Director of the JCRS.
