Abstract Bill of exchange filled out in black ink from Mrs. F. Rothberg sent to Mr. Louis Simmons of New York in the care of JCRS and Dr. Spivak in Denver, Colorado. Bill is for "6 days board and room from August 25th to September 31st at 85 cent a day" for a total charge of $5.10. After the charge, a note is written in black ink reads "received payment in full" and signed by Mrs. F. Rothberg.

Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Mr. Louis Simmons in Denver, Colorado informs Mr. Simmons that he is invited by the Admission and Dismission Committee of JCRS to enter the Sanatorium. Requests that Mr. Simmons present the letter within two days at the Sanatorium. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom. A post script is typed at the bottom and reads "kindly take all your baggage with you when entering the Sanatorium."
