Elizabeth (Libby) Katz was born in Denver July 26, 1921. She and her husband Phil (married July 1941) had three children and owned a supermarket on the West Side where Libby was an active member of the community for the reminder of her life. 250 people attended her 90th birthday. She passed away July 18, 2015. Her parents owned Phil's Grocery on the corner at West Colfax and Knox Court.
