Biography

Charles Levy was a businessman and realtor in the Breckenridge area of Colorado. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, and spent most of his life in that area. His parents moved to Cleveland, Ohio, and in 1970, Charles moved to Summit County, CO. He opened an office for Breckenridge Investment Corporation in 1971 in Frisco. In 1972, he opened his own business, Levy, Rhennert and Sheahan Inc. and was president from June of 1972- December 1975, when he sold his interests and moved to Basalt to build houses. he returned in 1976 and taught skiing at Cooper Mountian before starting his own business as a custom home builder, specializing in commercial property, and teaching real estate courses at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge.

He was named for his grandfather, Charles Levy, who was also a businessman in the Breckenridge area, from 1880-1909.
