Biography
Charles Levy was a businessman in the Breckenridge area of Colorado from 1880-1909. He was born into a wealthy German Hebrew family, and immigrated to the U.S. as a young man. He lived briefly in New York and Chicago, but was a part of the "Breckenridge Boom", and opened a dry goods and furnishings store in Breckenridge in 1880. He worked at the same store until the day he died, at 59 years old.
His grandson, also named Charles Levy, was also a businessman in Breckenridge, CO.
