Heller, Sabina, 1941-
Biography
Polish born. Also known as Inka Kagan or Inka Goszczeski. Originally named Sabina Kagan, she was hidden as an infant with a Christian family in Poland by her parents. Both her parents were killed and the family didn't care for her. A neighboring family took her in and treated her as their own child. After the war, authorities persuaded the Catholic family to return Sabina to her people and was placed in a Jewish orphanage in Lodz.
