Box 3 contains oversize materials, including a booklet from the Colorado Ballet, a large booklet of pictures from "Bring In 'Da Noise", and a series of posters/photos from Janelle Ayon from Aspen Ballet.
Box 4 contains folders full of research related to the life of Vera-Ellen, a famous musical actress who was in White Christmas. These folders include: Acknowledgements and Bibliography, B'way Shows, "Call Me Madam", Fan Club, Letters To/From C. Murphy, "On the Town", and Photos and Correspondence from Frank.
This collection contains the personal papers of Janine Gastineau, a dance critic. The collection in large part is made up of newspaper clippings of articles written by Gastineau and informational packets on various dance troupes and companies. Also included in the collection is research performed by Gastineau and her co-author Frank Ferguson for a book on Vera-Ellen, a famous musical actress from the 1950s. This book was apparently never completed.
Series 1 contains copies of articles written by Janine Gastineau, with some articles written by others. Also included in this series are informational packets on various dance troupes, companies, shows, and events that Janine wrote on or participated in.
Series 2 contains all research pertaining to the planned (but never published) Vera-Ellen book, to be written by Janine and her co-author Frank Ferguson. This includes photos, correspondence, and photocopies of pertinent resources. Not included is any copy of a manuscript, if one was ever written.
