Biography

Rose Libby Miller was a well-known person in the Jewish community. She lived to be 60 years old and had been a resident of Denver since the age of 16. She was active in BMH Synagog activities, a charter member of the BMH Women's League, active in Hadassah and the majority of all other Jewish women's organizations in Denver. She was married to Joe Miller, the livestock and commission businessman. Together they had seven sons: Dr. Lewish I. Miller, Dr. Eli A. Miller, Jake Miller, Robert Miller, Hyman Miller, Israel Miller, and Ben Miller. She was survived by her husband, her sons, a nice and nephew, Libby and Albert Schnitzer, whom she raised as her own children after the death of their mother, and a brother, Louis Lipson.
