Letter from C.D. Spivak to Mrs. I. Rapaport. Spivak tells Rapaport that her son is not sick and is feeling quite well. Supposedly her son has written to her and instructed Spivak to let her know that he is doing well and does not need to worry about him. Spivak also tells her that her son will write to her that day. Spivak assures Mrs. Rapaport that everything will be done to make sure her son's health continues to improve.

Letter from C.D. Spivak to I. Rapaport. Spivak tells Rapaport that he received the $7.00 she sent for her son’s burial. Spivak also tells Rapaport that he does not think he will be able to obtain the $25.00 from the National Jewish Hospital, but he will try to collect the money.

Letter from H. Schwatt to C.D. Spivak. Schwatt enclosed a letter from Ida Rapaport, as well as a $7.00 money order to cover the cost of her son’s burial.

Handwritten letter from Mrs. I. Rapaport to C.D. Spivak. Mrs. Rapaport asks Spivak if her son is in such a bad state of health that he is not able to write her back. She tells Spivak that she cares about her son and would like to know his current condition since he is not responding to her letters. She also thanks Spivak for taking care of her son.

Handwritten letter from I. Rapaport to JCRS. Mrs. Rapaport tells JCRS that she responded to their telegram and sent an answer back. Ida tells JCRS that she is not a rich woman, but the National Jewish Hospital owes her son $25.00 which Ida tells JCRS they can use to pay for her son’s burial. She also sent a money order of $7.00 to cover the remaining balance of the burial for a total of $32.00. She hopes there will be no trouble in collecting the $25.00 from the National Jewish Hospital.

Telegraph from C.D. Spivak to I. Rapaport. Spivak regrets to inform Ida Rapaport that her son passed away. Spivak asks Ida to wire burial instructions. Spivak also tells Ida that it will cost $117.00 to ship the body to Newark and $32.00 to bury the body in Denver. Spivak tells Ida that if he does not hear from her in twenty-four hours Nathan Rapaport’s body would be buried in Denver.
