Biography
Rose Spiesberger was born on June 15, 1881 in Keokuk, Iowa and died in Denver on August 13, 1943. She married Walter Michael Appel on July 6, 1910 in Omaha, Nebraska. Walter Appel became an attorney and founded a major law firm with a childhood friend, Ira Rothberger. The couple had three children: Walter Jr., Dorothy, and Robert S. Appel.
