Handwritten letter from Ike Hart to Dr. P. Hillkowitz, on June 22/06. The letter informs Dr. Hillkowitz that Mr. Hart forwarded the letter to Mr. Litowitz's uncle, Mr. Kantrowitz. Mr. Kantrowitz concludes that Mr. Litowitz can come home. The letter inquires enough money for a tourist sleeper and a couple of dollars in Mr. Litowitz's pocket. Mr. Hart will send a money return in the mail. The letter is signed Ike Hart.

Typed letter from Joseph Barid to Phillip Hillkowitz, asking him to do what he can to extend Daniel Goldberg's stay in the sanatorium. Letter is signed by Jos. Barid.

Handwritten letter from Jacob Greenberg to JCRS, on March 5, 1907. The letter informs JCRS that Mr. Greenberg has read a subscription of "The Sanatorium" and was very pleased with it. He gives his best to all the inmates and faculty. Mr. Greenberg wishes to be subscribed to "The Sanatorium". Mr. Greenberg concludes that his health has improved and he gives his best to everyone at JCRS, including Dr. Hillkowitz and [illegible] names. The letter is signed Jacob Greenberg.

A typed letter from President Philip Hillkowitz, JCRS, to J. Marinoff, Superintendent of JCRS asking him to give Jacob Goldstein one week of meals at JCRS. The letter is unsigned with the word "President" typed at the bottom of the letter.

Typed letter from JCRS to A.M. White Lodge #168, I.O.B.A., dated August 9, 1905. The letter provides details on the disposition of Edmond Dienstag's effects, his burial, etc. It also notes that the pro rata share of the O.B.A. has not been received, but that it is assumed it will arrive in due time. The letter is unsigned, but "President" is typed at the bottom.
