The Frieze of the Prophets, circa 1935
Abstract
Box contains framed print of the prophets from the Sons of Israel in Colorado Springs. Sepia tone print is of the Frieze of the Prophets, a mural done by John Singer Sargent for the Boston Public Library. Print is in three parts, each part a different wall in the original mural. Prophets are identified as: Part 1- Zephaniah, Joel, Obadiah, Hosea; Part 2- Amos, Nahum, Ezekiel, Daniel, Elijah, Moses, Joshua, Jeremiah, Jonah, Isaiah and Habakkuk; Part 3- Micah, Haggai, Malacchi and Zechariah.
